ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Heather Eaton is in her 26th year of teaching. Early in her career, she was a special education teacher before moving to fine arts and teaching digital photography and journalism. Her programs are now part of the Career and Technical Education Department in the Tolleson Union High School District. She is advising the Montage yearbook and the Eye of the Lobo newspaper at La Joya Community High School in Avondale, Arizona. Her passion for art and design has allowed her to build these programs into what they are today. In her spare time, she is busy playing supermom to a 16-year-old, 9-year-old boy/girl twins and a husband, all while sewing, freelancing with her photography and dreaming of playing roller derby again.
