You will be shooting a stop motion short with 500 images. This will create a stop motion that is about 25 frames per second. Your story must contain a beginning middle and an end. You will be creating a storyboard today for your stop motion project. You will be working with a partner and MUST create everything together. Your story will be drawn on the white board. Make sure your camera is on a tripod when you begin shooting tomorrow. If you need another light source then you will need to use either you cell phone or the constant lights. PERIOD 1 The students will be creating shadows using a light source, eggs, and metal objects.
The student will understand how a 360 degree light source changes the shadows on the object. This will simulate the sun and it's environment. ASSIGNMENT: Now that you have photographed the eggs over the two days you will need to find 10 images that best represent shadow and light. These images must be gallery worthy. You will edit the 10 images and create a contact sheet to post to the Padlet below. Then you will choose your 3 BEST images and make three separate posts containing those image with a title and description of the image for publication. SUBMIT: PERIOD 1

Day 1:
Use the constant light to move the light source around the single egg. Use will use a piece of double-sided tape to stand the egg upright. You are aiming for 5 different shots showcasing the light source being mover 360 degrees around the egg and then over the top of the egg. [Do this just like you see in the video] Day 2: Use the constant lights and your cell phone light to create shadows using the metal kitchen utensils. Make sure you have a lot of variety. Shoot on a black background, white back ground, various number of eggs. [See the images below]

You will be using CANVA and creating a from scratch wallpaper for the desktop or for a mobile phone. You will then post to the Padlet. SUBMIT: PERIOD 1 Over the next two days you will be photographing various things on the following list. Although many things on the list are pretty straight forward, others may be interpreted differently based on how you view them/concept. LIST TO PHOTOGRAPH:
When you have completed your list you will be compiling each image that best represents the category and creating a contact sheet in Photoshop of the images. You will be submitting the contact sheets for submission. Edit each image and label the following way: LAST_FIRST_CATEGORY.jpg CREATING A CONTACT SHEET IN PHOTOSHOP CC Choose File > Automate > Contact Sheet II. Make sure you have all of the images labeled correctly PRIOR to creating the contact sheet. Create a file that is 8.5 inches Wide and 11 inches High with 300 resolution. You want 6 columns and 5 rows to accommodate your 30 images! SUBMIT:
PERIOD 1 The student will take several shots of them in the exact same environment, but doing different poses and then use a layer mask to clone themselves into the same scene. ASSIGNMENT: You will be using a tripod to take several photos in the same environment doing different poses and activities that will all be cloned together using layer masks. You must use the same environment (here is where the tripod comes into play) You must end up with 5 different versions of yourself in the final image. You must use props in each image Your final image will be 1920px X 1080px 300dpi On the Padlet you will be brainstorming 3 different possibilities for your final image. You will use any Photoshop techniques you know to create the surrealism composite below. Please use source files to create an EXACT replica of the final image.
