OPTION 1: 1. Students will use their laptops or phones to go to 16personalities.com. 2. Students will take the assessment. Encourage students to take their time and answer as honestly as possible to get the most accurate results. 3. Students will read their assessment results—results include information on strengths/weaknesses, relationships, idea career paths and workplace environment, and more! THEN ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS: · What did you find most/least accurate about the assessment results? · What is your greatest weakness and what can you start doing today to improve in that area? · What do you think about the career paths recommended by the assessment results? OR COMPLETE OPTION 2 1. Students will use their laptops or phones to go to bls.gov/ooh. Note: The website will automatically reroute students to bls/gov (without /ooh). Students must readd /ooh to the end of the weblink. 2. Students will enter a career of interest into the “Search Handbook” bar on the upper-right corner of their screen and select the career title most closely matching their search. 3. Students will navigate through the tabs to learn what someone in that career does, their work environment, how to become one, pay, job outlook, and similar occupations. THEN ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS: 1. What education is required for the career path you’re most interested in? Do you know what it takes to get that degree? 2. What does the site say are the most important qualities for someone to possess working in that career (found in “How to Become One” tab)? Do you believe you exhibit those qualities? If not, what can you do start doing today to develop those qualities? All students must complete the QR CODE FEEDBACK SURVEY on the PADLET. SUBMIT: PERIOD 6
