The students will be creating shadows using a light source, eggs, and metal objects.
The student will understand how a 360 degree light source changes the shadows on the object. This will simulate the sun and it's environment. Watch the video below:
PRE-LAB - Day 1: Use the sun and a partner to capture shadows in these categories:
Day 2: Use the constant light to move the light source around the single egg. Use will use a piece of double-sided tape to stand the egg upright. You are aiming for 5 different shots showcasing the light source being mover 360 degrees around the egg and then over the top of the egg. [Do this just like you see in the video] Day 3: Use the constant lights and your cell phone light to create shadows using the metal kitchen utensils. Make sure you have a lot of variety. Shoot on a black background, white back ground, various number of eggs. [See the images below] SUBMIT: PERIOD 1
