The students will look for composition in their environment that looks like various letter in words. They will photograph the objects to create letters that will build various words. ASSIGNMENT: You will be photographing various objects so that a letter appears. These letters will be used to spell out a word. The sites below give you examples of what your finished product should express. Today will be a planning day and tomorrow you will begin shooting your letters. You will need to make sure that your word is no more than 7 letters. Make sure when you are looking for letters that you fill the frame. All letters must be shot in Portrait form (up and down), otherwise the letters will not fit on the background. This will help when you have to put the image together. ASSIGNMENT: Download Files 1. Open Photoshop 2. Create a document 4 inches tall x 6 inches wide 3. Create 3 different versions of Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and place them in a science of your choice. You can find different backgrounds from Google Creative Commons. 4. Submit final images to the Padlet below. SUBMIT: PERIOD 3 PERIOD 5 The student will design a digital time capsule to send to themselves in the future.
